Beech Class
Welcome to Beech Class! We are a vibrant group of Year 1 and Year 2 children, guided by Mrs Green and Mrs Robinson and supported by Mrs. Duffy.
This term, Beech Class are diving into an exciting array of topics across the curriculum. In History, we are exploring the dramatic events of the Great Fire of London, uncovering how it shaped the city's history.
Geography lessons focus on "Where in the World Are We?", helping us understand maps and our place on the globe.
In Art, we are inspired by Norman Foster's iconic London landmarks and buildings.
In DT, we are learning the principles of free-standing structures, combining engineering and imagination.
Science lessons investigate everyday materials, exploring their properties and uses.
Finally, Computing lessons introduce programming basics with Beebots, fostering critical thinking and coding skills in a fun and interactive way.

Class Information
There will be no formal weekly spelling test.
The number bonds/times tables test is on Monday.
PE is on Monday and Friday.
On Monday we would like the children to come to school in their uniforms and bring their PE kits with them to change into. On Fridays, we would like the children to come to school in their PE kits.
