Our Choir visit Newman Court and Tesco
Our newly formed choir, for the first time incorporating KS1, gave two delightful performances in the wider community accompanied by Alize on the violin. Their first visit was to Newman Court, a specialist unit for people with a diagnosis of dementia, Alzheimer’s or cognitive impairment. We have built up a lasting relationship with Newman Court and it was nice to return to perform for their visitors who thoroughly enjoyed singing along.
The following morning we set off to Tesco, again a venue we have visited before. The children enjoyed entertaining the shoppers and raising money for Tesco's Toy Appeal Charity.
Congratulations to Mrs Stores and the children. They performed beautifully and made our school very proud.
