Year 1/2 African Drumming Concert
The children in Year 1 and 2 have been learning African drumming in their music lesson this term. It has been noisy, but great fun! They showed off all of their hard work in a brilliant concert and gave the audience a treat playing music from The Lion King as well as some of their own compositions. Keeping a steady beat and playing in time with the group is trickier than you might think, but all of the children worked really hard and did a great job.
They enjoyed learning two African songs which they performed beautifully and certainly got the audience tapping their feet!
Well done everyone - a fantastic end to our drumming lessons.
