On Thursday 6th July, KS1 went on a big coach to Birdworld. We went to see a lot of birds including penguins. I was excited for the whole day. First we had a quick look at the flamingos then Penguin Beach. In Penguin Beach, Natalie (Keeper) was feeding an African penguin called Squirt who was eating fish (sprats.) Next we went to look at the pelican talk and feeding the large pelicans. After seeing the pelicans we had lunch in the picnic barn. Then we went to the farm which had curly haired pigs, Hungarian geese and goats. After that we went to see the emu talk and one of the emus were having the zoomies which makes them go crazy. Finally, we went back on the coach at 2pm and travelled back to Cliddesden Primary School.

On the 6th July 2023, KS1 went to Birdworld. We got there by coach. We went to Birdworld because we are learning about penguins and penguins are birds.
Next we went to see Penguin Beach and had a penguin talk. We watched it in the blazing sunlight. We watched the keeper feed the African Penguins some fish and a penguin called Squirt kept sitting on the keepers lap.
The pelicans had a talk of their own. The herons kept on stealing the pelicans fish! They had a humungous habitat.
We looked at some owls and Penguin Beach and all the birds and tortoises again. We returned to school at 3pm and my favourite part was the emu talk.

On Thursday 6th July, Beech and Willow class went on a coach to Birdworld in Farnham to learn about different birds and where they live in different countries.
First, we went to the toilets. Then we looked at a blue Macaw and then we had a quick look at the flamingos, they were lovely. After that we looked at the tortoises. One was staring at me the whole time. After we found a little shelter and we had our snacks then we headed off to find more birds and other animals.
Next, we saw some penguins then we walked to Penguin Beach. The penguins were inquisitively looking for fish they could eat happily. We had our lunch and we went to the farm. There were goats, chickens, bunnies, pigs and we went to play on an adventure park for a few minutes.
Then we saw the pelicans and some grown ups talked about the pelicans and what they were eating. We saw some emus and another 2 growns ups talked about the emus and the baby one did a funny dance because she was stressed.
Finally, we went back on the coach and we all had an amazing time at Birdworld. We hope we can go back with school or our parents. We were a bit sad going away from Birdworld because we had such a great time.
