Oak Production - Star Warts:  The umpire strikes back

In a galaxy far, far away, Luke Warmwater and his aunt, Daft Ada, live on their secluded space station, Junction 51. We learn more about Daft Ada - many years ago she lost her young baby Dennis after a visit from Doctor Woo, who came with a remedy for Dennis’ star warts. Left to look after her nephew Luke, she and their pet pot plant Gordon live a lonely life. But when Princess Nebula's ship crash lands into Luke's bedroom, they soon learn of the evil Umpire and his dark desire to conquer the universe.

Along with Toby Wonky Nosebleed, Zak Solo and Nigella the Nookie, they follow Princess Nebula, who seeks revenge against the Umpire and is staging a rebellion. Nebula is searching for her father, Basil Oregano, who has left her with a souvenir necklace, which she wears all the time.  Aboard the Millennium Penguin, the crew whizz warp-speed through the galaxy to the Umpire's High Tower on Planet Wimbledonia.

But first they must find Yoga and learn more about the power of … the sauce!  Luke beams down to learn more from the Jelly Nit Master himself, who lives on Planet Pilates.

Meanwhile, unknown to our heroes, the Umpire is about to strike back, assisted by Spocky McSpock and the Racketeers!

Our amazing cast went on their space adventure light-years from home.  They had close encounters with mad martians, spaced-out Space Rangers and a ferocious pot-plant called Gordon. Did our crazy crew master the power of the sauce to save the galaxy, or was it game, set and match to the Umpire?

A wonderful production full of singing, dancing and superb acting.
