Dynamo Cricket Competition
Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Cricket team who recently took part in The Basingstoke Schools Dynamo Cricket competition.
We spent a whole day at the tournament playing St Johns, Fairfields and Merton, winning all three of our games. In the next round we carried on our winning form and beat St Bedes and finally met St John’s again in the final game of the day, who narrowly beat us. We finished runners up on the day.
This took us to the final stage, the week after, where we played St Mary’s. They were a very strong team and beat us by 150 runs to 77 runs. However, we then played for the third or fourth place and met St John’s once again! Time for revenge and this time we beat them to finish the third highest placed Basingstoke school. Another big achievement for Cliddesden and well done to all involved.
