Sports Day
On Monday we had our Sports Day and what a fantastic day it was. The weather stayed fine and once again Brighton Hill Community School provided an excellent venue. The day was well attended by parents and we thank you for the lovely comments that some of you sent in afterwards.
This year we introduced some new events into the day with the houses taking part in team games of scatterball, basketball and rounders. This was followed by field skills- based activities and in the afternoon, we had the popular track events.
All the children competed well and had an enjoyable time. Ellisfield came fourth, Hackwood third, Winslade second and the winners of sports day 2023 for the second-year running were Farleigh House.
Thank you to BHCS for hosting and to the Year 10 Sports Leaders for their assistance, Mrs Jordan and everybody involved for making this a great event.
