Chestnut Class - Morse Code Workshop
On Wednesday 23rd, Chestnut was lucky enough to have Mr Wood present an interactive workshop on Morse Code. We learnt all about how Morse Code was invented and how it has been used over the years. We looked at how Morse Code was used on the Titanic and why the distress signal was not received quickly enough to help. The class decoded their own messages and were able to send messages on a replica morse code machine. The afternoon was very interesting and informative.
