Willow class walked around Cliddesden village as part of our Y1 fieldwork for Geography. The new children were being super spotters, looking for bugs, houses and fields.
We started by looking at our school and the surrounding fields, noticing hills and trees. We then walked along the road in a 'walking bus' down the hill to the church. We noticed many snails and wild flowers on the way. After a quick look in the church, noticing it's made of flint like our school, we walked past single big houses down to the pond. We saw more large houses but also a row of pink cottages and a pottery shop ( which used to be a post-office).
From the pond, we looked at thatched houses and the old school house too. We spotted a garage with a sign and a small hairdressers too.
