Cricket Finals
It has been a summer of great sporting achievements. Our cricket team played in the annual Basingstoke Schools Tournament at Mays Bounty Cricket Ground earlier this month. They came second on the day in Group B which put them through to the final four teams. They returned to Mays Bounty the following week for the finals. They first played St Mary’s who came top of group A. The game was close but St Mary’s pipped us by 23 runs. This meant Cliddesden then played for 3rd or 4th place against
Great Binfields. They won this game convincingly by 45 runs and came 3rd place overall. Cliddesden won a trophy for being the highest placed small school.
