Eco Award
In the spring and summer terms last year, the ECO Team were involved in a project run by SATRO. A number of schools in Hampshire and Surrey were set the challenge of reducing the amount of electrical energy used in school. We are very proud that Cliddesden won all three awards for saving the most energy. Our solar panels helped considerably but also the ECO Teams’ work on promoting saving energy in school by turning lights, display screens and computers off when not being used and items such as photocopiers being turned off at the end of the day and at weekends. Carl Webb from SATRO came back to school for a special assembly to present the awards to the ECO Team members.
